Origin Story
Mentorship & Leadership: Where My Journey Began
Around the time I was in middle school, I was part of a group of students that a teacher of mine placed together. She named this gathering “The Princess Project.” During my time with them, I was introduced to meaningful connections with girls around my age — mentees — as well as women much older than me — our mentors. The mission of this project was to build a connection between females and God, and to create a space where we could grow, evolve, and be vulnerable with one another as a sisterhood.
Over time, we were given Bible‑type books with prompts and tasks to help us grow and build discipline within ourselves. We held workshops and events to strengthen our bond with the community, God, and each other. At the end of the program, there was a banquet to announce the princess — the girl who had made the greatest changes and impact.
I was crowned princess. Even though other girls were present, I knew that tiara was meant for me. I was also gifted a plaque acknowledging my ability to lead. The plaque included the Bible verse Matthew 5:16, which reads, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
I always knew I was destined to be a leader. I have never followed anyone — not social norms nor societal norms. I’ve always moved to the beat of my own drum and searched for a deeper meaning to life. Being crowned the very first princess of The Princess Project confirmed what I already knew: leadership was always a part of my path.
My Tarot Journey
Studying tarot felt more like home than any house I’ve ever lived in. In April of 2025, around the anniversary of my uncle’s passing, one of my favorite readers gave me the green light to step fully into tarot. I went to her and another reader for guidance and mentorship. She told me, “Post more about astrology — that’ll open doors for you.” She wasn’t lying. Doors have been flying open ever since.
I began posting readings, sharing my life experiences, getting more personally involved with my visions, and eventually started to see real interaction with my content after transitioning from Facebook to TikTok. I’ve been happier living in my truth and healing ever since. Because of her guidance, I’m able to come to you confidently and comfortably, offering wisdom from Olodumare and my ancestors based on client approval and what I feel in my heart.
I aim to be for others what my mentor was for me.
